If you are renting a property, then you probably will have been asked to pay a tenancy deposit. In April 2007, it became law that all Assured Shorthold Tenancy deposits received by landlords and letting agents are required to be protected in an approved Deposit Scheme.

At Alastair Saville we currently use the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). Any dispute regarding the repayments of the deposit will be adjudicated by the TDS.
